Good stuff
And a price tag that you can’t explain I’m guessing!
Yeh they’re more expensive than the Pattol that’s for sure
Why does it look like a GU at that angle?
Do you think so? Not sure how you got there but that’s okay
Would it stop a Bull?
A big bull no, a baby bull, maybe, not fame to try
Strutless. But now it can strut its stuff strutfully
Will now
lol … hilux hand brake 😂
That’s definitely part of it
You should replace your Steering Knuckles with the Super Pro ones it will get rid of the of bump steer issues which plague the Dmax and Mux plus fix your wheel alignment
Luigi has had a good run with his munji correction components and he’s happy. Have you used the drop spindles?
@@MORE4x4_au No my vehicle is at standard height atm it's going in for a GVM upgrade next few weeks
Have you included the spindles as part of the upgrade in the engineers report?
What about having to pull the diff mounts to take the cv shafts out? One of the worse designs ive seen on an ifs.
Yeh it’s a bit silly, I believe there’s some quick disconnects on the market now.
You have to wonder why the manufacturer isn’t able to do the right thing in the first place?
That’d require the manufacturer to listen to their clients and care about to outcome
It's crap so they can make you spend more money that's how it works now days. The dealer just sale them they don't care what happens after. Just reality nothing else. COME ON MAN
You’re right and no vehicle on the market today is specifically built for how you want to use the vehicle so investing more is pretty normal in the scheme of things
Black spaghetti😂😂😂😂 I snotted when I saw the camera go fishing 😂😂😂😂
Made from squid ink I suppose, that snott what I expected from you
@@MORE4x4_au 🤣🤣🤣
@@MORE4x4_au you are on roll…mop🤣🤣🤣
You lost me on that one
@@MORE4x4_au the pickled fish rollmops
All that fuzzy shit is the blanket that they put in it to keep it safe.
It’s also moist
@@MORE4x4_au 🤣🤣🤣
Yep he sure did get a bum steer…😂
Bump not bum
@@MORE4x4_au I didn’t hear the pee
Bloody hell im surprised that Luigi isn’t all bent out of shape like his Isuzu. Reckon he’s tougher than the damn vehicle is. Metalogicallly what?
Metallurgically inadequate
They are nice 😊
They certainly are, fit beautifully and hard wearing. Thanks for watching
we need more of these beasts here, what a rippa truck
I reckon too, thanks for watching
Nice Love scorpions
Yeh they’re such cool little arachnids, thanks for watching buddy
I first thought that was a gorilla hand, because the sound didn’t work. Then I thought faaaarrrrrkkkk it’s a talking gorilla. I’m ok now! Thanks for the scare!
He’s a big carrot eating communist gorilla
@@MORE4x4_au bawhahahahahaha
Hahahah thanks for watching
Yeah…same vehicle but not the same price. At least it ain’t a Volvo. I despise…no…I hate Volvos with a passion…I’ll tell you a couple of stories one day of my passionate distaste of these abhorrent vehicles. See what you gon done…now I got ptsd!!!
You should talk to someone about that
@@MORE4x4_au I did…his name was Dr Volvo… I did my time!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sounds like a Stanley Kubrick film
Yep got stung by one, not recommended
A little one like this or a larger desert scorpion? Thanks for commenting
@@MORE4x4_au A little one, don’t be fooled by the size they bloody hurt. My whole hand swole up for a week.
Is that right? May I ask how you know it was a scorpion envenomation
I drive a Mahindra Scorpio for my work vehicle…it doesn’t have as many legs though!
Not even close though! Do you actually drive a mahindra?
@@MORE4x4_au I do for my work vehicle. Buy two for the price of one hilux.
Fair enough, are they any good?
@@MORE4x4_au well they ain’t a hilux or navara but they are good on the tracks. The Mahindra Scorpio broke the world record last year in crossing the Simpson desert in 11 hours.
I didn’t know that
Gone are the days of spending 20 minutes tying a tarp down on the back of the trusty Ute. Is there a tool to manually override the system?
I remember those days. Not sure about the manual override to be honest
@@MORE4x4_au well you’d be stuffed if the lektrix stopped working and ya had ya kids in the back!
I can think of a few benefits
holy crap, your "Aus regulations" are something else... wheel flairs to meet regulations?
Yep, tyres need to be contained within the body lines so when we change the wheel and tyre we sometimes need to install flares to keep them covered
Parking brakes don't gold a normal/stock vehicle very well in "reverse", let alone one weighted down. Park it nose down and in Park or stick in Reverse and the parking brake. For extra measures, use a wheel chock.
Yeh Roger that, never trust any handbrake (especially older generation Toyota) on their own. Thanks for commenting
Its probably overweight like most "overlanding" vehicles and the factory parking brakes are meant to hold a certain amount. When theyre heavy it can slowly slip, if he didnt apply it enough it most likely would have kept on its way, just a guess
Beautiful dogs but i want a cane corso
Good old Toyota handbrake changing where you parked your car
Yeh yep, common occurrence
I reckon it might be a little bit of High and a little bit of Lucks.
Yeh I thought he must have forgotten where he lives or something
I wash wanderings whysh itsh tooksh me longerer to walksh to me frosh door matesh. Whoosh gon parksh me car dowwn dere? Far outsh brushel shprout.
Yeh I think the cars drunk too
That auxbeam panel holder is very slick! Wish I had one for my silverado
Thanks for tuning in. We’re finalising a few things and they’ll be available soon.
Have you ever given the wrong car back to a customer? 😂
God no but that’d be hilarious! Our systems are way too dialed in for that to occur
It’s a really tidy setup mate. I really like your attention to detail and your willingness to be up front about how you have done things. Good work!
Thank you buddy, transparency is super important to me
The extreme close up of your face, it’s just like trying to control the naughty child. So funny.
Hahaha Pancho does that to unsettle me and sometimes it works, thanks for tuning in
I'm thinking of upgrading my old 31x10.5 R15 to those Maxxis at 33x10.5 R15...just wondering if my Hilux Vigo's 2" suspension lift would cause any rubbing on the front fenders and mudflaps. 🤔
Thanks for watching and your comment, yes they’ll scrub on the body mount
Does anybody rotate anymore?
Certainly do
Why don’t ya just throw a bowser in the tub! 😂
As in Mario and Luigi?
@@MORE4x4_au 🤣🤣💯👍🏾
Lol
40L holy heavens My 62 is a hybrid compared to that
Get stuck into your Patrol and see what happens to the fuel consumption
@MORE4x4_au fair enough It'll jump heaps I suppose Great point
You’re 100% correct
I live in Canada and I have mud terrain for summers and all terrain with the snow rating for winter. I have a little over 18,000 kms on a 23 tacoma and Im on my 6th rotation. Never hurts to do it more often if you follow torque specs!!
Thanks for sharing your experience buddy, we really appreciate it!
Oi, straight 6 ea falcons were tough as.
Well I’m not sure the rear differential was included in that generalisation
Good video, was waiting for that noise to appear on my muddies. Now I know how it is caused. 5 tyre rotation and wheel alignment every 10,000km should keep it away. 🤞
Thanks Ben, I’m stoked you got some value out of it. Aaron Mitchell
We employ backpackers to work at our Rdhse, nearly every single couple we employ has bought an old 4wd or 2wd with camping extras to explore out great country. Most Australians (generalisation) haven’t left their own home town or their state. I agree get out there and explore, why go anywhere else. Australia has everything!
Absolutely mate, use what ya got I reckon
It’s not the length it’s the width that matters. So I’ve been told! Excellent advice.
Girth is super important
I agree Aaron, the best lights I've ever owned are still the X ray spotties wide beam you guys installed on my patrol back in the day
I remember that now
Good those wraps #suck, lazy man's paint 🎉
That was treadfully good value! I knew you had to rotate but never heard it explained like that. 👍🏾👍🏾
Neither had I to be honest so that was great to hear it explained that way.
bs.. 99% of stainless snorkels require a single round hole... plastic requires that plus 10 small holes... that was just a flat out lie .. i was kinda believing the bs until that.. but that one was just a straight lie
I have no idea what you’re referring to but let’s just break that down. Most stainless snorkels require more material removal than polyethylene versions. Semi concealed stainless snorkels definitely require more material removal and sometimes structural element removal. No snorkel has one single round hole. This video is based on logic and reasoning but even that is sometimes misunderstood.
@@MORE4x4_au ruclips.net/video/OZh318vLnMs/видео.html thats a normal snorkel install on a normal 4x4.. 1 round hole.. and 2 nutt serts..... where as most plastic is the same round hole and 2 nut serts plus another 6-10 holes in the guard for the flimsy plastic ...... lying isnt good business practice
Ok Danny, if you think you’re right you absolutely are but just take a step back and read what was written in my previous comment.
I love that colour. My XC was a good nugget bronze…slightly darker but dang it was cool
My first car was an XD
That’s what you call a spammer in the works and sounds real shifty. 😂
Hahahahah you have a never ending list of content and it honestly astounds me
That’s exactly what in think off if you put a drawer system in will you be able to do a video for us?
G'day Denis, What do you mean exactly? Happy to do whatever videos that'll help.
New meaning to when the rubber meets the road ya get pistons!
Kinda the same as when peeing into the wind yeh?
